Visas
Visitors from most countries do not require a travel visa to visit Ireland. If in doubt please consult with your travel agent or local Irish Embassy/Consulate or you can check this information link www.dfa.ie

Currency
Ireland is in the Eurozone, and the Euro (€) is the only currency that will be accepted. Banks and many hotels will convert foreign currency to Euros. Most major credit cards are accepted in Ireland.

Electricity
Ireland is 220V, 50Hz electricity, with three-pronged square pin plugs (as per UK). Some hotels provide US and Continental sockets and electrical adaptors.

Safety
In general Ireland is a safe destination. However, we recommend that travelers take normal precautions for safety of their person and belongings. All visitors are advised to have their own travel insurance for their trip to Ireland.
