Delegate categories are:
Professional – Participants attending the Congress in a professional capacity
for career development and education. Includes the full scientific programme and
social events.
Registration Fee: €450 euro

Parent/Guardian – Participants attending for reasons connected with family,
personal interest and other non-professional purposes. Includes the full
scientific programme and social events.
Registration Fee: €375 euro
.
Student – A discounted rate is offered for participants in fulltime study.
Evidence of fulltime student status may be requested by the organisers. Includes
the full scientific programme and social events.
Registration Fee: €285 euro

Participant with Down syndrome, Age 18 or over –
A full Congress programme for participants with Down syndrome is being developed.
Activities will include workshops on self advocacy, music & drama, personal development,
internet training and sports. Registration fee includes daily lunch and social events.
Registration Fee: €250 euro.

Participant with Down syndrome, Age 10 - 17 years
or
Siblings Programme, Age 10 - 17 years
A full Congress programme for children aged 10 - 17 is being developed. Activities will
include sporting and craft activities as well on workshops for siblings and workshops on
irish culture and conversation skills. Registration fee includes daily lunch and social events.
Registration Fee: €250 euro

Additional Family Members – can be booked as accompanying persons on the main
delegate registration form for all categories. The registration fee of €200 euro
per person entitles attendance at the full scientific programme and social
events.

Children aged 0 - 9 years - Childcare will be available on site during the Congress for
children aged 0 - 9 years. A daily charge will apply, pre booking is essential. For further

Lunch – daily lunch is provided as part of registration on the 20th, 21st and
22nd August. Please tick the box for lunch on the days of your attendance in
order to receive lunch vouchers.

Social events – can be booked as part of your registration.
The Welcome Reception is free for all delegates, while tickets can be purchased
for the Gala Dinner and other optional events.

A range of official accommodation options are given in the registration form and
are described fully under the Accommodation page of the website. We have pre-
booked bedrooms for dates outside of the congress days of 19th-22nd August 2009
in case of early arrivals, and you may request accommodation as part of your
booking for further dates outside those indicated. Early booking is strongly
recommended as accommodation will be allocated as it is booked and availability
cannot be guaranteed.

Full payment for registration fees, social events and accommodation is required
to confirm your booking. Payment options are given in the registration form and
include credit card payment and payment by bank transfer.
Credit card payment gives immediate confirmation of your booking and is our
preferred payment type.

HOW TO REGISTER

To register


1) A Family with a Participant with Down Syndrome : Please choose one Family Member to be the main registrant, you will then be allowed to book subsequent family members, of differing registration types on the next booking page. To book Family Accommodation, book a double room in one of the hotels indicated suitable for family bookings (see Accommodation Summary Table on website) and then list in the notes an extra bed is required. Please only book up to three adults in one room on-line, should you require a larger room than this please contact the congress secretariat directly.
